Join professor Lou Bury and continue to celebrate the publication of his book, Exercises in Criticism. Prof Bury will be part of a panel at the CUNY Graduate Center at 4 PM on April 24, 2015, entitled “Models and Methods: Unconventional Dissertations.”

The panel unites CUNY GC English Program alumni who successfully defended unconventional dissertations. What does an unconventional approach to the dissertation look like? What questions, texts, or archives necessitate an unconventional approach? What be learned from approaches that may be unconventional to a particular discipline but not to another? Prof. Bury will be joined by GC alums Cori L. Gabbard, Claudia Moreno Parsons, and Karinne Keithley Syers. The panel will be moderated by Wendy Tronrud.
